With the best of everything across pop-culture, Oz Comic-Con brought over exclusive panels, celebrity guest, cosplay competitions, anime screenings, comics and memorabilia galore back to Perth.

Cosplay Community 

Oz Comic Con brings together cosplayers from all over Western Australia, each showcasing their creativity and skill. From intricately designed armor to expertly crafted props, every detail is a testament to the dedication and passion that goes into their work.

The cosplay area buzzes with energy, as the community constantly strives to break new ground in design and performance. In 2025, attendees were treated to an incredible display of imagination, offering photographers plenty of chances to capture the impressive talent that continues to grow and inspire within the cosplay world.

Photo Wall

This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to be an official photographer for Oz Comic Con 2025! Both days were filled with nonstop energy, creativity, and incredible moments that I was thrilled to capture.

I was part of the team behind the mini pop-up Photo Wall, which became a favorite spot for the Perth Cosplay Community. The atmosphere was electric, with cosplayers lining up to showcase their stunning creations.

I want to give a special thank you to Katherine Cook, who acted as my photography assistant. She did an incredible job managing the line, engaging with cosplayers, recording some BTS videos and photos, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Thanks to her support, I was able to focus entirely on capturing the magic of the weekend.

For comic book fans

Comic book vendors from all over Australia flew in for the Perth Oz Comic Con weekend, adding to the event’s vibrant atmosphere. These dedicated vendors brought with them a treasure trove of rare and exclusive comic books, graphic novels, and memorabilia, creating a haven for comic enthusiasts.

From Sydney to Melbourne, Brisbane to Adelaide, vendors showcased a diverse array of collections, providing attendees with the unique opportunity to discover and purchase items that are not typically available in Perth. Their presence not only enriched the event but also highlighted the strong sense of community and passion within the Australian comic book scene. This convergence of vendors from across the country made the Perth Oz Comic Con a truly special and unforgettable experience for all comic book fans.
