RTX Sydney Expo  is a two day gaming and internet culture event hosted by Rooster Teeth!

RTX Sydney 2017 took place in the newly built International Convention Centre, located in Darling Harbour Sydney NSW on February 4-5, 2017.

It was a two day gaming and internet culture event hosted by Rooster Teeth! A convention mostly based in Texas USA, RTX ran in Sydney for its second year.

Highlight appearances included Legendary Game Designer Hideo Kojima, many staff of Rooster Teeth, cast of the web-series SlowMo Guys, Video gaming website Achievement Hunter, Gaming Show Producer FunHaus and many more!

RTX Sydney boasted special guest Metal Gear developer, Hideo Kojima!

Much of the event had been available to access online via Twitch.

A massive hit to many gaming fans, the soon-to-be released Nintendo Switch was playable to demo for the attendees of the convention. An upcoming gaming console, Nintendo Switch is scheduled for release worldwide on March 3, 2017!

Nintendo Switch was made available for the Australian public to play for the first time!

Armoured Heaven, Australia’s Premiere Toy Gun Store, hosted a massive six panel stall, selling the latest range gel ball blasters, with many models based on the real thing, and included a few others based on guns featured in the XBox videogame, Halo!

Getting ready in Armoured Heaven as we anticipated a long and busy day ahead!

RTX Sydney was an amazing experience with an entire weekend’s worth of fun to be had, but for now, Sydney will have to wait until an announcement is made for when the next event will be.
