Pixel Expo Perth 2026 was more than a gaming convention. Over one action-packed weekend, the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) became a hub for gamers, cosplayers, VTubers, streamers, artists, developers and pop culture fans, bringing together some of the best local, Australian and international talent.

Pixel Expo Vs took place on Saturday, 15 August and Sunday, 16 August 2026, in Perth, Western Australia. The event offered visitors a packed program of gaming, cosplay, live entertainment, creative showcases, shopping and opportunities to meet fellow fans and creators.

Gaming

Gaming remained at the heart of Pixel Expo Perth, with something for players of all interests. Visitors could experience indie Australian games, arcade machines, free-play areas, tabletop games, trading card games (TCGs) and competitive gaming tournaments.

The event also highlighted the talent of Western Australian game developers, including projects supported by Screenwest, giving attendees an opportunity to discover games being created right here in WA.

Cosplay and the Pixel Expo Cosplay Championships

Cosplay was one of the biggest visual highlights of the weekend, with attendees transforming into characters from games, anime, comics, movies and popular culture.

The Pixel Expo Cosplay Championships took the creativity to the stage, giving skilled cosplayers the opportunity to showcase their costumes, craftsmanship and performances in front of an enthusiastic audience.

Artists, Creators and Vendors

For fans looking to shop, discover new creators or take home something unique, the Artist Alley and vendor area offered plenty to explore.

More than 200 artists and traders featured at Pixel Expo, showcasing original artwork, handmade creations, collectibles, merchandise and fandom-inspired products. From independent artists to specialist retailers, the exhibition floor provided plenty of opportunities to discover something new.

Purple Bra Day

At Pixel Expo Perth, I decided to get a little chesty with my support for IGA Purple Bra Day and Breast Cancer Care WA. I proudly wore a bright purple bra over my outfit to raise awareness and show that a little extra support can go a long way.

This was more than just making a bra statement. Breast Cancer Care WA provides free specialist breast care nursing, mental health support, and practical and financial assistance to people across Western Australia facing breast cancer.

Now I am putting my photography where my bra is.

I am offering high-resolution cosplay photography from Pixel Expo Perth for purchase, with all proceeds going directly towards Breast Cancer Care WA through my IGA Purple Bra Day fundraising campaign.
