Stationed at the dedicated Photo Wall
On the Saturday of the convention, I was stationed at the dedicated pop-up photo wall alongside Kat, capturing portraits from morning through to close.
The photo wall quickly became a focal point of the event, drawing in cosplayers eager to have their hard work professionally photographed.
It became a space where confidence, craftsmanship, and personality all came together in front of the lens, with an incredible variety of costumes and creative energy flowing through the setup all day long.

2026 Special guests
One of the highlights of Tokyo Alley: Celebration 2026 was its diverse lineup of special guests, bringing together creators from across animation, streaming, digital content, and the anime art community.
This year’s guest roster featured content creator Addy Harajuku, popular VTubers K9KURO and Michi Mochievee, artist Homikokoni, and Sony Pictures Animation art director Wendell Dalit. Throughout the weekend, guests participated in meet-and-greets, Q&A panels, autograph sessions, portfolio reviews, and live stage appearances, giving attendees the opportunity to interact directly with creators they admire.
The guest lineup reflected Tokyo Alley’s continued focus on celebrating both international talent and online creator culture, while still maintaining the community-driven atmosphere that has helped the convention grow over the past decade. Whether fans came for cosplay, art, VTubers, animation, or anime culture, the 10th anniversary event delivered a memorable experience packed with entertainment and creativity.

Anime, Gaming, Cars, and Community
Gaming and interactive activities brought a huge amount of energy to Tokyo Alley 2026, giving attendees plenty to experience beyond the convention floor. Throughout the weekend, fans gathered around gaming stations, tournaments, and community-run activities that celebrated both retro classics and modern favourites. From casual free-play setups to competitive matches, the gaming areas remained packed with attendees eager to connect through shared fandoms and friendly competition.
The event also featured a wide variety of hands-on activities including workshops, arts and crafts, stage games, and interactive experiences hosted by community groups and creators. Whether visitors were competing in tournaments, exploring artist showcases, joining cosplay meetups, or simply enjoying the atmosphere with friends, Tokyo Alley once again delivered a convention experience built around creativity, community, and fan culture.

A Safe, Inclusive Space
More than anything, Tokyo Alley reinforced its commitment to being a safe, inclusive, and family friendly event.
The sense of community was unmistakable, with newcomers and long-time fans alike sharing the space with respect and enthusiasm.
Being part of the weekend from behind the camera was a privilege, and the memories captured at the photo wall are a testament to just how special the cosplay community truly is.
